During Dr. Iqbal’s 15th work anniversary meeting, he mentioned that during his PhD studies, his area of expertise was Inorganic/Analytical Chemistry. He worked on the research topic ‘Circular Dichroism Spectra of Transition Metal Complexes of Chiral Schiff Base Ligands.’ His work focused on the chemistry of metals such as Copper, Nickel, Cobalt, Chromium, and Uranium, and he has research publications in this area.
Dr. Nasir also conducted postdoctoral research with Professor Paul O’Brian at the University of Manchester in the field of Materials Chemistry. His research focused on nanoparticles for photovoltaic cells in solar energy applications, specifically through chemical vapor deposition of transition metal complexes. He has research papers from his postdoctoral research group, which he conducted from 2006 to 2009 at the University of Manchester.
